I have been running radio programming clinics in the Daytona Beach area with the goal of getting radios out of the closet and on the air.
Programming a radio can be hard as many of the brands use proprietary cables and software.
This site is meant to bring together the knowledge and experiences of those who have successfully programmed their radios, so others can do the same.
The domain is a .org because this is a hobby-driven project.
You may notice some ads, and if you choose to purchase through those links, we receive a tiny percentage. This support helps us continue growing, as we’re still acquiring radios and cables for testing.
The first set of radios that will be featured are those that use the cable that works with the BaoFeng UV5r. This cable works with many of the Radtel radio of which my current favorite is the RT-900.
I hope that to get a lot of folks sending me their Frequency .csv files so that we can share them.
Currently my main file covers Central Florida with a bias toward Volusia and Flagler counties.
